What Is A Clawbot?

Clawbot is a robot which involves VEX EDR set and VEX Cortex 2.0 and is a step to begin the VEX Robotics Course. This robot is used to play in the VEX Swept Away Competition, the objective of a Clawbot is used The Clawbot has 3 parts in it the The Brain, The Wheels and The Claw, These parts help the robot to work and be successful and execute the plan. This robot gives a good understanding of the further projects and connects with all the harder project. A Clawbot, a basic wheeled robot with a movable, clawed arm. ... An optional activity involves programming the robot using RobotC, a programming language specifically designed for the VEX microcontroller. This is our 2nd project of year in this course and 1st project which involves the VEX EDR structure and Cortex 2.0. This is our Clawbot and we call it the Claw-Sweeper because of it big grill and Claw. I made this Robot in a collaboration with Gunvir and Ratan.

Summarizing Our Clawbot: The Claw-Sweeper
So, this is our Clawbot and the 2nd project of the year and is the 1st one which involves proper robotic techniques and VEX EDR. The main objective of this clawbot is to use its claw and parts to push and throw the balls on the other side and score as much to win the VEW Swept Away Competion. We call our robot The Claw-Sweeper and the name comes from the Claw the that we are using which clamps the balls and holds on to them and drops them on the other side and the Big Grills on front and back which help in sweep the big amounts of balls under to hole. This Clawbot doesnt work with a bunch of steel parts come togehter moving but it also implies many laws of physics and science. This Clawbot is been through a lots of changes like wheel system change and a change in the claw and this is because we had faced a lot of failuires and problems with the structure and parts of this clawbot. Our ClawBot consists of 4 elements and thee elements are called the Sweepers, Cortex, Claw & Movementors. The 1st element the Sweepers consist of the 2 big grills, one on the front and other on the back these grills push the balls and are a major part in our robot in terms of scoring but also help in blocking the other teams scoring. The 2nd and most important one is the cortex this is technically the brain of robot and contains all the codes and commands of the robot on which the robot is dependent to move and do stuff. The 3rd one is the Claw and this consist of the The whole tower of the claw and the claw itself which opens and closes and clamps the balls and moves and drops the ball on the other side. The last but not least is the 4th element the movementors which are all the wheels and parts and gears used in claw that let the robot move help execute the objective. I made this clawbot with my team - Gunvir & Ratan. During this project we had experienced many troubles with the structure of the robot for example while we were making our clawbot the motors would not work a bunch of time also our robot was not working at times but we overcame our adversities and we came up with new ideas every time in order to make it better.
